Reinier Munguia

Reinier Munguia is a photographer based in Lakeland, Florida. His interest in photography started as age 16 when he received his first camera. Since then, nature has been his favorite subject. His first published work came while majoring in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. At the time, he was conducting studies on reptiles, but soon found a special interest in birds to which he has dedicated a large portion of his life. His nature and landscape photography has been recognized as one of exceptional quality, with great emphasis on details. Some of his wildlife photos are used in textbooks, newsletters and brochures. While most people know him for his nature photos, Reinier is also an accomplished commercial photographer working for a number of major companies. He has been flying small planes for 8 years and is currently persuing aerial photography as one of his latest subjects.
